While you wait
- Stay well away from moving traffic. On the freeway, stay in your car with your seat belt on unless it's unsafe.
- Take photos of the scene and the vehicles, if you can do it safely.
- Exchange information with the other driver and note any witnesses.
- Keep your phone on so our driver can reach you.
